AI Smishing Checker is a mobile application focused on security of text communication, especially SMS and chat.
AI Smishing Checker relies on combination of AI tools which are able to evaluate the security of the message in real-time preventing you from the dangers of new and unknown cyberattacks.
Is the AI Smishing Checker accurate?
Reliability, or the accuracy of evaluations, is divided into two types:
- Correctly identifying fraudulent messages as fraudulent.
- Correctly identifying common messages as safe.
Because we use artificial intelligence to evaluate messages and although we have precisely defined instructions for it, there may be cases where a message is not evaluated correctly. We always recommend caution and verifying AI Smishing Checker recommendations.
What kind of messages can I send to the application?
You can send any messages that have been sent to you via SMS, WhatsApp, Messenger, iMessage, Telegram, or any other mobile chat app like social media apps, dating apps, online marketplaces, etc.
The content of the message has to be text, but apart from that it can be anything from daily life, service providers, courier and transportation services, financial institutions, or any other messages about which you are unsure of their security and authenticity.
How do you handle my data?
You can share with us which country you are currently in, to make your evaluations more precise and personalized for your geographical region. And although it is recommended, it is optional.
We store your e-mail and account information to identify you. We store the messages you send us to display them in your message history.
We do not train any models on your data and we also do not send your data to any other party to train their models. For our infrastructure we use only highly secured and certified providers and we also have our own regulations. Your data is our #1 priority. What is the difference between AI Smishing Checker and content-filtering applications?
Comparing to content-filtering applications AI Smising Checker provides real-time evaluations and explanations of the messages you decided to send for analysis. You always receive detailed explanation about the message content and its safety in the matter of seconds. AI Smishing Checker does not remove original message. It is the decision of the user what to finally do with the message (delete it, ignore it, answer it). With AI Smishing Checker you always know all messages, never miss valid and secure messages.
How to get started?
Can I try the application for free?
Yes, after downloading and installing the application on your phone, you can use our 7-day trial that allows you to use the application for free.
Installation
To install our mobile app, please follow the steps for your device:
For Android Users: Visit the Google Play Store and search for our app. Tap “Install” to download and set up the app on your device.
For iOS Users: Go to the Apple App Store and find our app. Tap “Get” to download and install it on your iPhone or iPad.
Once installed, open the app and sign in using your Google or Apple account to get started!
Registration and sign-in
To access our mobile app, please sign in using your Google or Apple account. This is the only method available for registration and sign-in. Simply select the appropriate option based on your device to get started.

Usage
How does the evaluation work?
Right after you send the message to AI Smishing Checker, it begins to analyze it and after a while it responds with security category and the reason why the message was categorized that way. Security categories are:
- Safe – The message does not contain any scam characteristics, you can trust the message.
- Suspicious – It is not easy to say whether the message is a scam. If you do not know the sender we recommend to ignore it.
- Dangerous – The message is definitely fraudulent. Do not respond to it. We are already aware of the attack.
When I submit a message for evaluation, can I close the application?
Once you send us a message, you can close the application; evaluation happens independently. When the message is evaluated (which takes about 30 seconds), the application will send you a notification on your phone, and you can check your evaluation. If you accidentally delete the notification, you can always review each evaluation in the message history.
Where can I see my evaluated messages?
To see the history of messages click on the second button on the main navigation in the app on bottom part of the screen.
Subscription
Does the application have any limits?
Yes, the application does not allow you to send dozens of messages daily. On average, an ordinary person receives about 3 messages daily, and only few of them raise concerns about security. Therefore, we recommend sending to the application only those SMS messages that seem suspicious to you. Current limit is 10 messages weekly.
Why is there a limit?
- Security: Restricting the number of messages helps maintain the integrity of the system.
- Capacity: We use the fastest and most advanced AI models to analyze messages with the highest possible accuracy. However, these models have computational limits.
- Practicality: Fraudulent or potentially fraudulent messages are not received in large volumes daily. Based on typical user patterns, we believe a limit of 10 messages per week is sufficient.
How can I renew / cancel my subscription?
Subscription is renewed automatically via App Store / Google Play or directly in the app. You can cancel the subscription anytime via App Store / Google Play or mobile settings.
I have a new phone and a valid subscription, what should I do?
You can just download the app to your new mobile device and sign-in with your Google or Apple account (depends on the platform you use) and start using the application. The only condition is that you use the same Google or Apple account the subscription is associated with.
